- Mt. Morris Fire responds to 510 W. First St. for a Structure Fire

On September 22, 2015 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District responded to 510 W. First St. for a report of clothes on fire in a basement.  Engine Co. 5702 arrived on scene to a single story wood frame structure with smoke showing.  Firefighters brought the fire under control quickly and were assisted on the scene by the Byron, Oregon and Polo Fire Districts.  Mt.
