- Mt. Morris Fire responds to 102 S. Fletcher Ave. for a structure fire -

In the early afternoon hours Mt. Morris Fire was dispatched for a possible garage fire at 102 S. Fletcher Ave.  Chief Hough arrived on scene to find a garage well involved about six feet from a house.  Chief Hough requested MABAS Box 18 to the second alarm level for additional assistance, the assistance was as follows: Byron Fire, Oregon Fire and Polo Fire.  Firefighters extinguished the blaze and remained on scene for several hours for overhaul.  Mt. Morris would like to thank their neighbors for their assistance during this alarm.  

During this alarm Mt. Morris Fire also received three other alarms.  A special thanks to Oregon Fire and Byron Fire for their assistance with these other alarms.
