- Mt. Morris Fire responds to a dumpster fire -

On August 25, 2015 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District responded to a dumpster fire behind the "Old Sandstone Building."  Chief Hough arrived on scene to find a dumpster fully involved.  Firefighter's quickly brought the fire under control and overhauled it.  Firefighters worked on the scene about an hour.
