- Mt. Morris Fire responds to 305 E. Brayton Rd. for a structure fire -

On August 2, 2013 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District received a report of bedroom fire at 305 E. Brayton Rd.  Chief Hough arrived on scene to find a two and a half story wood frame home with flames and smoke showing.  Companies quickly extinguished the fire and remained on scene to aid in salvage of the families' belongings.
