- Mt. Morris Fire responds Mutual Aid to Polo for an Accident -

In the early evening hours of July 8, 2009, the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District responded mutual aid with Polo Fire to the intersection of Pines Rd. and Lowell Park Rd. for a semi vs car accident. Mt. Morris Fire responded with Engine Co. 5702 and Ambulance 1-F-25. Crews assisted Polo with trauma packaging of patients and transport to an area hospital. Fire Crews assisted in removal of the semi. Fire crews were on scene about 4 hours.
