- Mt. Morris Fire responds Mutual Aid to Leaf River for a Structure Fire -

On June 7, 2014 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District was requested for MABAS Box  12 to the Second Alarm Level for a Structure Fire at 9458 N. Mt. Morris Rd, in Leaf River.  Mt. Morris was due with an Ambulance, Squad, Tender and Chief.  Firefighters operated on the scene for several hours.  The home was tragically a complete loss.  No one was injured in the fire.
