- Mt. Morris Fire responds to a Field Fire -

On March 21, 2015 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District responded to the 4200 Block of Midtown Road for a field fire.  Chief Hough arrived on scene to find a waterway burning that because of the variable winds had extended into the bean field.  Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control and then operated on the scene for about two hours putting out and checking for hot spots.
