- Mt. Morris Fire Responds to 201 E. Hitt St. for a Structure Fire -

On March 28, 2013 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District was dispatched to 201 E. Hitt St. for a chair on fire in a house.  Chief Hough arrived on scene to a single story residence with smoke showing.  Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control and remained on the scene for overhaul.  Mt. Morris was assisted on the scene by Byron, Oregon and Polo Fire Districts.
