- Mt. Morris Fire responds to 4022 N. Town Hall Rd for a field fire -

On March 24, 2017 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District responded to the report of a prescribed burn that had gotten out of control.  Firefighters arrived to find a large area of ditch burning as well as the edge of a field with corn stubble.  Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control and extinguish any hot spots.
