- Mt. Morris Fire responds to a reported truck on fire

On February 9, 2015 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District was dispatched  to 2397 W. Mudcreek Rd. for a vehicle on fire and not near any structures.  Chief Hough arrived on scene to find a Ford Ranger pick up truck fully involved.  Companies quickly extinguished the fire and remained on scene for overhaul.  Companies operated on scene for about two hours.
