- Mt. Morris Fire responds to 6600 W. Apple Rd. for a tree fire -

On February 21, 2017 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District responded to the 6600 Block of West Apple Rd. for a report of a tree on fire.  When firefighters arrived they found a single tree burning with no exposures.  
​Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control.
