- Mt. Morris Fire responds to a two vehicle accident -

Mt. Morris Fire and Ambulance was dispatched to a reported two vehicle head on accident with entrapment on IL Route 64 just West of Ridge Rd. Upon arrival companies found two vehicles, both upright with damage to the front ends. Extrication was needed to free the driver of the mini-van. All patients had minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals. Mt. Morris was assisted by Byron Fire with an ambulance. Crews remained on the scene for just over an hour.
