- Mt. Morris Fire responds to a single vehicle accident -

On January 14, 2011 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District received a report of a one vehicle accident with entrapment and that the vehicle was smoking.  Chief Hough arrived on scene to find a single vehicle on it's wheels and against a tree in the ditch.  Companies extricated the driver of the vehicle and he was transported to an area hospital by Lifeline Helicopter.
