​- Mt. Morris Fire responds to the 5000 block of West IL Rt. 64 -

On May 24, 2016 the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District responded to the 5,000 block of West IL Rt. 64 for a report of an oversize load that had become entangled in the power lines.   No one was injured in the accident.  Fire companies were on scene for several hours waiting for the utility companies.
